What affects your aircon installation quote?
Every home is different. The unit you choose, installation layout, access and outdoor mounting can all change the scope and price. Open the options below, or send us photos and we’ll help you work out what suits your home.
External wall: a back-to-back installation
The indoor unit sits on an external wall, with the outdoor unit nearby on the other side. This often allows a shorter, more direct connection between the units. We still check access, drainage, mounting and electrical requirements before confirming your quote.
Internal wall: an “up-and-over” installation
An indoor unit on an internal wall may need a longer route to reach the outdoor unit, sometimes through the ceiling or roof space—what we call “up and over”. The available route, extra pipework and drainage arrangements can make the installation more involved. We’ll explain the suitable options and any additional work in your quote.
Single-storey or double-storey homes
The storey the unit is on and access to both locations matter. Higher installations, difficult access or longer pipe runs may require additional equipment and labour. A double-storey home does not automatically mean a complex installation; it depends on where the units will go.
Outdoor unit: wall bracket, poly slab or existing concrete
We can quote for a wall bracket, a purpose-made poly slab, or installation on a suitable existing concrete slab or floor. The choice depends on the surface, support, drainage, airflow, noise and access for servicing, as well as the unit manufacturer’s requirements. We’ll confirm the mounting arrangement and what is included before you approve the work.
For a clearer quote: send your suburb, unit model (if you have one), whether the home is single or double storey, and photos of the proposed indoor location, outdoor location and switchboard. Tell us if an old unit needs removing. We’ll identify any extra mounting, pipework or electrical work in your quote.
